Having worked in hotels previously, we know what to look out for! Great rates and wonderful perks are also available to all of our clients. We have access to one of the best hotel booking portals (in our opinion). The portal allows us to have access to other agent comments, customer reviews, and insider tips. Plus, if your room rate gets cheaper, we can re-book you at the lower rate! (Non-refundable rates excluded, obviously)

What You Need to Know Before You Go
Why Use a Travel Agent?
Before becoming a TA, we used alot of the big name websites. However, independent TA's typically give better service and may even have access to better rates than the big guys have. Perks, rates, specialized service and trip planning all come with the benefit of using a Travel Agent. Plus, they can offer insider tips, recommendations, and have the knowledge of the places you are heading or may want to avoid. We also are able to see if we can save you even more money, even after booking!
Especially for cruising, if you are not using an Agent - you are leaving money on the table!
Can you help with airfare?
Absolutely! Know that the cheapest fares typically include booking fees. However, sometimes we may be able to find airfares that are only available through a travel agent!
If you find a great low-cost deal in basic economy, jump on it! Remember, most low-cost bare-bone fares typically include more fees, restrictions and hidden costs. We much prefer and suggest booking premium airfares due to the flexibility, baggage allowance, and comfort. We've flown in some of the best and worst premium classes and are happy to help find you the best fit for your trip.
Can you do travel packages?
Yes! We can do anything from just hotel+air, to full fledge trips with EVERYTHING planned with multiple activites to create unforgettable travel experiences.
We also have other package partners we can potentially get you a discount on as well!
What’s your cancellation policy?
Depends on each booked portion of your trip. We tend to book refundable/cancellable options for flexibility. But, we are not opposed to booking non-refundable for great savings!
Ultimately, the choice depends on your preferences and risk tolerance for changes in your plans.
Can you get special rates or perks at hotels?
Yes. In fact, we have access to special rates that can give awesome perks like early check-in, or even rates that you may not see on your apps!
Do you charge a planning fee?
Depends. We try to respond to simple inquires, but sometimes we just cant help ourselves!
Let's discuss and see if your trip would require any compensation outside our typical commission structure. (Some activities and vendors may not even give comissions! BOO!)
Most bookings will not incur a fee.
When can you provide support?
As this is a moonlighting project, please note that most inquires and support will be during nights and weekends.

We can usually score some onboard credit for you if we transfer your reservation to be managed by Terra Rossa Travel.

What's in the name Terra Rossa Travel?
Over all the 20+ years spent gallavanting around the world with over 60 countries, we wanted to bring interests together. Wine and Traveling.
Terra Rossa means red earth in Italian, and more specifically it is the best soil to grow grapes in. It is a sought after clayish soil that yeilds the best wines and just so happens to match our founder's hair color. This soil is found in the Mediterranean-type of climates all over the world. It is also within popular wine growing regions in some of our most favorite places like; South Africa, Australia, Chile, SoCal, Croatia, Italy, and other parts of the Med.
Can you price match?
Good job finding a deal! I’ll check if I can match the rate. Be sure to read the terms and conditions! Cheaper options online may have a catch. If a rate drops significantly, I typically get notified and may be able to re-book at the lower price, especially for hotels.
Be cautious: cheaper rates can be non-refundable and lack perks. Some sites advertise low rates but have hidden fees or mislead with math.
Non-refundable bookings save money upfront but can technically cost more if prices drop later. You are more than welcome to book those cheaper fares on your own, just know that you lose support if issues arise.
